Lights Of Peace

Welcome to Lights of Peace- a gentle space created with love for anyone who is ever felt overwhelmed, unheard, or simply in need of a soft place to land. Here, you don’t have to pretend to be okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be you — and that’s more than enough.

This blog was born from a deep desire to remind people that healing is not only possible, it’s something you deserve. Whether you’re moving through anxiety, grief, burnout, or simply the weight of everyday life, we’re here to walk beside you with compassion and care. We offer self-help mental health strategies for growth to root from within you.

Founded by Aman, a registered mental health professional in day-to-day life, this space blends gentle guidance, personal reflection, and tools to support your emotional well-being — all shared with heart, honesty, and warmth.

Here at Lights of Peace, you’ll find:

  • Words that soothe and uplift
  • Mindful practices to help you come home to yourself
  • Real stories from real hearts — messy, beautiful, and true
  • A reminder that you are never alone in what you’re feeling

Our hope is that every visit here feels like a cozy cup of tea, a hand on your back, and a quiet voice saying:
“You’re doing your best, and that’s more than enough.”

Take what you need. Leave what doesn’t serve you.
And know that you are always welcome, just as you are.

I’m Aman, a Registered Nurse (BSN, RN)

I’m Aman, a Registered Nurse (BSN, RN) with a heart deeply rooted in mental health and emotional well-being. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working in both acute and long-term mental health settings, supporting people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. My journey has taken me across different provinces, where I’ve worked with diverse cultures and communities. Each experience has taught me something unique about the human mind, the power of connection, and the universal need to feel seen, heard, and understood.

Along the way, I’ve earned certifications in multiple forms of psychotherapy and completed Positive Psychology at the University of Sydney, which opened my eyes to the incredible strength people hold within themselves — often waiting to be nurtured.

Through this blog, my mission is to focus on prevention — to create a space where mental health isn’t only about treatment, but about understanding, awareness, and everyday care. I believe in meeting people where they are and giving them the tools to thrive, not just survive.

Here, you’ll find reflections, strategies, and heartfelt insights designed to support you in your own journey toward balance, healing, and emotional resilience.

I’m so glad you’re here — let’s walk this path toward well-being together.
