Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, is a common condition affecting neurodevelopment, which can influence your thinking, emotional processing, and reactions to the world around you. Although ADHD is often diagnosed in children and teenagers, adults can be diagnosed with it as well.

The symptoms of ADHD are not uniform across individuals, with people experiencing them differently. At times, symptoms may be mild, but there are also instances when you might face particularly challenging days due to ADHD for various reasons.

ADHD manifests uniquely in each person. For instance, ADHD symptoms in kids can differ in appearance and sensation compared to those in adults.

The nature of your symptoms will be influenced by the type of ADHD you have. The primary symptoms include inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. However, exhibiting these signs doesn’t automatically indicate that you or your child has ADHD.
